“Conquer language then you will conquer the world” is what many people have said. I believe it is true because to be multilingual gives you more opportunities than to be monolingual. You may travel around the world without experiencing difficulties with the language. To be multilingual also allows you to read literature written in alter languages. Furthermore, it also assists you when you apply for a job. Therefore, it is essential that you speak more than one language as I will illustrate below.
First, consider the benefits to travel many places in the world without any trouble with the languages. The world has become so borderless that it is very easy to travel around. By speaking more than one language, one advantage you might obtain is when you are in a public area: in the airport, for instance. You will encounter no obstacle while filling the required forms printed in other languages. While you are in the plane, instead of spending time yawning and sleeping, you may have a real fun conversation with the good-looking man beside you if you speak his language. Another plus you can acquire is when you arrive in the country, you will find it easy to communicate because you speak the language as well. Imagine how much money you may spend to hire an interpreter. Those facts tell you why speaking more than one language can help you when you are travelling other places outside your country.
Another benefit to speak more than one language is the opportunity to read many books written in distinct languages. To be multilingual allows you to enjoy millions of book. Literature rich in knowledge is written not only in your first language, but also in other languages. You know when you read a translated book, you probably lose the sense of the original language because it is impossible to translate all of the original words to your own language without distorting the real meaning. Some people do not laugh when they are reading The Story of a Wimpy Kid once it is translated into Indonesian, although the original one is very hilarious. Also, regardless of your mother tongue, you can still read American playful novels or Greek romantic folk tales. I was in a fever to The Twilight Saga lately, so I borrowed the original novel. I literally cried when I read the part where Bella finally confessed she was pregnant, because the original words were so touchy compared to the translated one. That is why although I do not speak Greek, I am sure that it will be more interesting to read The Clash of the Titans in its original language. Those how speaking many languages undeniably will help you if you want to read books written in other language.
The greatest possibility to be multilingual is the opportunities with jobs. If you speak more than one language, you will be considered more qualified than those who speak only one language. Take for example, if you also speak French beside your mother tongue. There are many companies around the world prefer those who speak this language because French is the second international language. My friend’s father used to work in a France mining company with fantastic salary due to his ability of speaking French. In addition, this special skill indeed enhances your confidence because you know you have got something that not every person has it. Also, when you are being interviewed for a job, speaking other languages might be considered better, so your chance to be accepted to work will be bigger. In short, speaking more than one language also gives you more benefits with jobs.
In summary, speaking more than one language allows you to get more opportunities than to be monolingual. Travelling many places around the world, being able to read books written in other languages, and having better chance with jobs are the advantages. Those benefits have convinced me that speaking other languages beside my mother tongue offers a lot of chances.

"I'm here and i love you, I have always loved you, and I will always love you."

"aku disini dan aku mencintaimu. aku selalu mencintaimu, dan aku akan selalu mencintaimu."
